| Our club has a FUN FLY in June and again in October. A fun fly is a get
together of modeling pilots to show off their planes and their flying ability. We had
pilots that traveled many miles to attend. The event is open to the general public to be
spectators. Any pilot with a model plane (or helicopter) and a current AMA membership card
is welcome to participate. |
| Our spring FUNFLY was held on Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2, 2002. We had
a good weekend for a funfly with lots of pilots ready to fly.We had a really good turn out
in spite of the hot weather. |
| The Henderson Club put on a good show as usual with the night flying and
their 3D maneuvers. |
| Saturday afternoon was filled with competition and open flying. |
| This year we had combat on Saturday and Sunday. |
| There were several really good pilots flying throughout both days. |

Fish Fry
There was a fish fry on Saturday afternoon at the Piggott Community
Center to give pilots and their families a chance to eat and cool off.
